We bought one of these and it worked well -- for a couple of weeks. Suddenly it crashed; a couple of days with Dell support staff got it running again. But then it crashed again and would not power up. I took it back to Office Depot and they were very nice -- I couldn't have asked for a better response. They took the original computer and gave me a replacement, with just a few questions. So this review is mainly about the Office Depot staff; I am still installing updates on the computer, getting it ready to use. So far it seems good. I was surprised to find that the keyboard and mouse in this package were a bit different from those in the first package. The specs on the computer itself seem to be identical. It takes about 2.5 minutes to do a "restart" (from the time you click on the "restart" button until you're back on the desktop). Not fast, but OK.

The DVD drive doesn't work. I contacted Dell and they remotely added the software for me. Today I went to load something and again nothing happen. I searched the computer for this drive and nothing but "C" drive shows as being on the computer. It's like it isn't connected to the computer. I have files to add but can't because the drive won't work.
